Spence (postcode: 2615) is a residential suburb in the Belconnen district of Canberra, located within the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The suburb is named after William Spence (1846–1926), one of the founders of the Australian Workers' Union and later a member of the first Australian House of Representatives. It was gazetted on 2 November 1972. Streets are named after trade unionists.
